Economic Crisis or World Government?

It is a well-known fact that many of the global elite have long believed that a global economic crisis could be a major step toward the establishment of a New World Order (one-world government).

For example, as far back as 1994, David Rockefeller said, “We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order.” He didn’t identify what this needed “major crisis” would be—but others have indicated that they think a major economic crisis would work.

In 2008, Prime Minister Gordon Brown of England said, “The international financial crisis has given world leaders a unique opportunity to create a truly global society.” Think about it! The Prime Minister of England thought the devastating financial crisis that started in 2008 was a unique opportunity to create a world government.

That is similar to Rham’s Rule (named after Rham Emanuel Pres. Obama’s former Chief of Staff). Simply put: Politicians should use crises to push through unpopular legislation or programs that people wouldn’t accept under normal circumstances. They should use a crisis to do their will instead of the will of the people.

In 2012, Nigel Farage, a member of the EU Parliament said:

It is very, very difficult to ignore those voices, who have been telling me for twenty years that behind all of this [the economic crisis] there are a group of people that want to create “a one world government.” I’ve tried to ignore those arguments and say, “Look, let’s not be too conspiratorial about this.” But goodness me its [a one world government ] beginning to stare us in the face.

It really started staring us in the face in November 2014. That is when the world’s so-called, too-big-to-fail banks (J.P. Morgan, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs Group, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley) got the G-20 to pass legislation that shifts the liability for bank failures from the banks to the bank depositors.
If that kind of legislation at that level is not a clear indication that the world’s largest banks are expecting a global economic crisis, I don’t know what is. The heads of those banks want their depositors and not themselves to be held liable for future bank failures.

About that same time (the fall of 2008), the price of oil was dropping and the economies of Russia, Iran, Venezuela and several African nations were feeling the impact. In many ways, the lower price of gasoline was a good thing for American citizens. But now we are hearing that the economies of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and North Dakota could be in trouble.

Falling oil prices are cutting into the profits of American companies. Some are losing money because they can’t get oil out of the ground as cheaply as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Iraq and others. Some have stopped purchasing oil permits for new wells. Some are considering large layoffs. Some are having trouble paying the interest on borrowed money. Some won’t have profits to pay stockholders.

And this is spilling over into other sectors of the American economy. American companies need less pipe, fewer pumps, fewer motors, etc. The companies that make these things need fewer employees. And on and on the downward cycle goes.

This is the point: There are powerful people who want a world government and believe a crisis—perhaps an economic crisis— is needed to force through public acceptance. The so-called, too-big-to-fail banks have pushed through legislation to shift the liability for major bank failures. The price of oil has dropped sharply, and although not all agree, some think an economic crisis could be looming.

Finally, the U.S. President is one of those Globalists who wants a world government. Some, such as Henry Kissinger, are even hoping that Pres. Obama will head it up. And if something doesn’t happen to change the situation, Pres. Obama will be out of office in the next two years. We are living in interesting times.

Five Is Not Enough

The Bible teaches that ten kings (ten horns or ten leaders) will appear at the end of the age and then an eleventh, a little horn (a little king or a little leader), called the Antichrist will appear (Dan. 7:24; Rev. 17:12). Many outstanding prophecy teachers believe these ten kings will be ten leaders in a reunited Europe. But I disagree because the feet and toes on the statue in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream (Dan. 2:41-43) are feet and toes of iron plus clay (not iron by itself). I believe the clay represents nations other than a re-united Europe.

So it is my opinion that the ten kings will be ten rulers over ten groups of nations in the world not ten rulers over ten divisions in a re-united Europe. Put another way, I believe the most powerful of the ten kings will be the king from the Old Roman Empire (iron) and the other nine kings will be rulers over non-Roman Empire groups of nations (clay). I believe the ten kings will rule over a world government (iron plus clay) not just a reunited Europe (iron).

It seems significant to me that the UN Charter calls for the establishment of a world government with administrative regions. It doesn’t say how many regions the UN wants in its desired world government, but based on the Bible I believe that the world will wind-up with ten regions and each region will have its own leader (or king) for a total of ten leaders (or ten kings). After the ten kings appear, an eleventh king known as the Antichrist will appear. But the Rapture will be before that (II Thess. 2:6-8).

At this time, the UN Security Council has five permanent members with veto power, but most of the other nations don’t like that. They say that it is unfair to allow one nation on the UN Security Council to veto resolutions that have been passed in the UN General Assembly by a hundred or more other nations. They say that it is unfair to allow one nation (the U.S.) to block General Assembly resolutions against Israel or to allow one nation (Russia) to block General Assembly resolutions against Syria or Iran that have been passed by most of the world.

For years, some of these General Assembly nations have called for the UN Security Council to be restructured. But the five permanent members of the UN Security Council have always ignored their call and steadfastly refused to restructure and give up their veto power.

On Sept. 29, 2014 during the sixty-ninth Session of the UN General Assembly, Pres. Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey addressed the issue and said, “The world is bigger than five.” Leaders from all over the world agreed with him and they called for the immediate restructuring of the UN Security Council. But there was more. They also called for the UN to create regions in the world and to have leaders to represent those regions.

I have no way of knowing what the five permanent members of the UN Security Council will do or when they will do it. They may continue to ignore the call of the General Assembly nations to expand the number of permanent members in the UN Security Council and to create regions with regional leaders, or they may stop ignoring them and finally come around and do what the General Assembly is asking them to do. But I will say that it is just my opinion that the UN Security Council will soon restructure into ten groups or regions of nations.

Globalists are already pushing for the creation of regional groups of nations in North Africa and South America patterned after the European Union. Russia and several other nations have already signed a document creating a group of nations called the Eurasian Economic Union. Brazil, India and others are already saying that their growing economic clout accompanied by the economic problems in Europe and Asia means that they should be given a greater voice in the world. And in July 2014, more than 130 nations signed a document called a “New World Order to Live By.”

So at some point I believe change will come to the UN. That change will be followed by the rise of the Antichrist. And his appearance will be preceded by the Rapture.

Showdown In The Land Of Babylon

From Genesis to Revelation, the land of Babylon and the city of Babylon (Iraq) occupy a prominent place in Scripture. Together, the land and the city are mentioned almost 300 times in the Bible. Without question, many of these references are about ancient Babylon, but also without question many other references are about Babylon’s future just prior to and during the Tribulation Period (Isa. 13:6-16). Also, it is important to separate the prophecies about the land from the prophecies about the city.

Some verses of Scripture tie the city of Babylon to false worship. Nimrod built a ziggurat near there called the Tower of Babel (Gen. 11:1-9). I don’t know what was on top of the Tower of Babel, but later ziggurats had temples or altars on top of them and they were used for astrology, human sacrifice, the worship of Marduk and things like that. False worship and slaying people for religious reasons are an ancient Babylonian custom that still exists today.

King Nebuchadnezzar built a statue near the city of Babylon and ordered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to worship it or die (Dan. 3:1-30). Slaying people who won’t convert is another ancient Babylonian custom. Zechariah had a vision of a wicked woman (the opposite of the Bride of Christ; a harlot religion) that will be carried to Babylon in an ephah (a symbol of commerce and trade) in the future (Zech. 5:5-11). Some believe this means that the city of Babylon will be the future home of a global false religion and economic system. The Book of Revelation speaks of Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots (false worship) and Abominations of the Earth that is also a city loved by the merchants of the earth (Rev. 17-18).

Some verses of Scripture tie Babylon to demonic activity. Many writers think the Garden of Eden was in Babylon and Satan went there (Gen. 2:14; 3:1-5). Sorcerers practiced in the city (Dan. 2:2; 3:5). Daniel was in Babylon when the prince of Persia (a fallen angel) hindered the answer to one of his prayers (Dan. 10:13). Isaiah said satyrs (demons) will dance on the site of the burned city and the Book of Revelation confirms it (Isa. 13:19-22; Rev. 18:2).

Some verses of Scripture teach that the destruction of the land (not the city) of Babylon will start before the Tribulation Period and continue on into the Tribulation Period. God will assemble a multi-national force in the mountains of Babylon to move against the evil in the land with the weapons of His indignation (a name for the Tribulation Period) when the day of the Lord (the Tribulation Period) is near (Isa. 13:3-6). God will lay the land of Babylon desolate when the day of the Lord is coming (Isa. 13:9). Then, He will punish the world in the day of his fierce anger (Isa. 13:11-13). So the beginning of the destruction of the land of Babylon (Iraq) is a sign that the Tribulation Period with its seal, trumpet and bowl judgments is drawing near.

Some verses say the city (not the land) will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah (Isa. 13:19). The city must be rebuilt because it hasn’t burned yet, but it will burn during the Tribulation Period (Rev. 18:8) between the seventh bowl (Rev. 16:17) and the Second Coming of Jesus (Rev. 19:11-16). God said the city of Babylon will be destroyed suddenly (Jer. 51:8) and in the Book of Revelation, He said her plagues will come in one day (Rev. 18:8) and her riches will be destroyed in one hour (Rev. 18:10, 17, 19). He also linked several verses in Isa. 13 and Jer. 50-51 to Rev. 17-18 (Isa. 13:21 to Rev. 18:2; Jer. 50:15 to Rev. 18:6; 51:7 to 17:4 and 18:3; 51:8 to 18:2; 51:9 to 18:4; 51:13 to 17:1, etc.).

Jeremiah tied the destruction of the city (not the land) of Babylon to the salvation of the Jews. He said the Jews will weep and seek the Lord, their God and join themselves to Him in a perpetual covenant at the time of Babylon’s (the city’s) destruction (Jer. 50:4-5). Zechariah tied Israel’s weeping to the Second Coming of Jesus, the Battle of Armageddon and His outpouring of the Holy Spirit (Zech. 12:7-14). So the city’s destruction will occur instantly at the end of the Tribulation Period after the everlasting gospel has been preached all over the world (Rev. 14:6-8).

Some verses of Scripture teach that the Medes (Kurds) will play a dominant role in the future destruction of both the land, and later, the city of Babylon. God called on the nations to prepare their multi-national forces to join the Medes (Kurds) to make the land of Babylon desolate (Jer. 51:28-29). God said He will stir up the Medes (Kurds) against the men in the city of Babylon (Isa. 13:17). He said He will use the Medes (Kurds) to destroy the city of Babylon (Jer. 51:11). [Editor’s note: See more of Daymond Duck’s views on the Medes in his earlier post here.]

It is possible that the genocidal actions of the Islamic State (IS) have started the ball rolling on the fulfillment of these prophecies. Demonic describes those who behead, crucify or bury alive other human beings. It describes those who refuse food and drink to children who are dying of hunger and thirst and those who make sex-slaves out of young girls. It describes those who make mothers watch while their babies are cut in two and their husbands are slaughtered. It describes those who kill for religious purposes and those who demand that people convert or die. It describes the Islamic State and also the satanically inspired False Prophet who will behead people during the Tribulation Period (Rev. 13:15; 20:4).

In recent years, most of the nations in the world have been reluctant to sell weapons to the Kurds (Medes), but the demonic actions and gruesome videos of the Islamic State have profoundly altered the thinking of world leaders. The UN Security Council now recognizes the dangers of radical Islam. The UN Security Council has met and demanded that the Islamic State stop their attacks, disarm and disband; and the UN Security Council did it under a section of its Charter that allows the UN to militarily enforce their demand.

God said He will gather a group of mighty nations with the weapons of His indignation in the mountains of Babylon to destroy the land (Isa. 13:3-4). Several nations have now shipped or are preparing to ship modern weapons to the Kurds who occupy the mountains of Babylon (Iraq). Some are sending troops and this could be a clear indication that the Tribulation Period is close (Isa. 13:5; Jer. 50:3, 9-10, 15, 25-26, 41, 46). It could mean that God is ready to move decisively against those in the land of Babylon (Iraq) who are robbing, killing and raping His people and destroying His churches.

Obviously, the Kurds and their UN supporters can’t use these weapons against the city of Babylon at this time, but UN involvement is setting the stage for the city to be rebuilt and its destruction won’t be many years behind. In the last two weeks, Pres. Obama has called for a multi-national force to join the U.S. and the Kurds; since Aug. 8, 2014, the U.S. Air Force has destroyed dozens of Islamic State targets; the Kurds have recaptured the Mosul Dam; the EU has met and authorized member nations to help; England has announced that it is sending troops; the U.S. has announced that it may send more troops to join several hundred that are already there; and the prophetic picture of the Bible is starting to unfold.

In closing, I am not a prophet, but as I understand the Scriptures, this is just the beginning of a showdown in Babylon that will shake the world. As we approach the Tribulation Period, I expect the Islamic State to be brutally crushed and the land of Babylon to be seized and secured by the Globalists with the help of the Kurds (Medes). Then, I expect the Globalists to quickly rebuild the ancient city of Babylon to house their Global religion and economic system. Finally, at the end of the Tribulation Period, I expect the Kurds to use some of their modern weapons to destroy that city suddenly.

The Same Old Playbook

Knowledge of Bible prophecy, Pres. Obama’s actions and a recent article caused me to think about what Pres. Obama meant when he said, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” Some thought he meant restoring integrity in government, stopping partisan bickering, co-operating with Congress, improving America’s economy, putting Americans back to work and good things like that. But his record shows that he didn’t mean any of those things. I can’t prove it, but I think he meant, “We are five days away from doing whatever it takes to bring America into compliance with the Globalist Agenda.” I think Pres. Obama’s playbook was drawn up by Satan, given to Nimrod at the Tower of Babel, handed down to the Globalist, passed on to Pres. Obama and he is just a pawn in a one-world government scheme.

An excellent article by Daniel Taylor titled Globalist Think Tank: North American Community “Will Be Forged in the Heat of Conflict” (www.oldthinkernews.com) started me thinking about this. Mr. Taylor wrote about a Globalist meeting in 2002 that was held to discuss the formation of the North American Union. The Globalists who attended believed that the majority of U.S. citizens are opposed to surrendering the sovereignty of the U.S. by merging the U.S. with Canada and Mexico. These Globalists agreed that a playbook (a set of plans, schemes or tactics) was needed to fundamentally transform the U.S. Without an attitude adjustment in the U.S., these Globalists concluded that they would not be successful in creating a North American Union.

A representative of the Council on Foreign Relations (Stephanie Golob) attended the meeting and she indicated that the opposition of U.S. citizens is the “greatest obstacle” to the merger of the U.S. with Canada and Mexico. She didn’t say so, but the U.S. economy was the envy of the world in 2002. The middle class was large, many had good jobs, good pay, good healthcare, good retirement plans, the U.S. military was strong, people enjoyed their freedoms, etc. The vast majority of this middle class didn’t have anything against Canada or Mexico, but they didn’t want to risk losing the good things they had by surrendering U.S. sovereignty in a merger with Canada and Mexico. This probably explains why Golob suggested that the creation of the North American Union will have to come from the top down (by Presidential Directive or Executive Order) instead of by vote of the people. Without Presidential Directives or Executive Orders, these Globalists concluded again that they would not be successful in creating a North American Union.

A third and very insightful thing in Mr. Taylor’s excellent article connects the desired attitude adjustment and the need for Presidential Directives to the current illegal immigration debacle. According to the article, Prof. Darrell Hamamoto of the Univ. of Cal. said, “illegal immigration is about creating a subservient underclass in America.”

Golob’s 2002 statement reveals that Globalists thought the middle class of U.S. citizens was too big, too well off and too independent. Under these conditions America’s affluent middle class could not be controlled, an attitude adjustment was not possible, and Presidential Directives to surrender the sovereignty of the U.S. would be strongly opposed. On the other hand, America’s lower class of citizens was not well off, they depended upon the government for benefits and they could be fundamentally changed and controlled because they would want to keep their benefits coming in.

Thus, illegal immigration is about fundamentally changing attitudes by reducing the size, income, independence and voting power of the uncontrollable middle class; and it is about increasing the size, income (benefits), dependence and voting power of the controllable lower class. It is about weakening the middle class and empowering the lower class to create a new majority in the U.S. to change the way U.S. citizens think and vote. And all of this is essentially an old playbook or blueprint that was drawn up for the purpose of surrendering the sovereignty of the U.S., creating the North American Union and ultimately bringing in a mostly socialist one-world government.

Satan has convinced the Globalists that the middle class is expendable so the Globalists are doing away with middle class jobs, healthcare, freedoms, independence, etc. and Satan has convinced the Globalist that the lower class can be useful so the Globalists are keeping the border open to allow illegals to flood in and change the demographics of the U.S.

Some politicians are talking about sending the illegal immigrants back home. I will be surprised to see that happen because it will go against Satan’s one-world government agenda. Others are talking about building villages to put the illegal immigrants in. That doesn’t surprise me because it falls in line with the Agenda 21 goal of creating tightly controlled communities.

Other schemes in Satan’s same old playbook include reducing the population of the world to 1-2 billion people (through abortion, gay marriage, and several other really devious suggestions); preserving resources for future generations (called global resource efficiency); weakening the U.S. military and hyping climate change to scare citizens into accepting one-world government; and wealth redistribution to weaken the upper and middle classes, and to strengthen the lower class (increase the income of the lowest 40% faster than the national average).

In conclusion, I don’t think the big mess on America’s border with Mexico comes from a playbook drawn up by Pres. Obama. I actually think it comes from that same old playbook that was drawn up by Satan and handed down to the Globalists at the CFR, the State Dept. and all of those who are trying to establish the New World Order. But I have good news for you: God has always known the contents of Satan’s playbook, God plans to deal with it and God’s plan won’t fail.

By the way: The attitude adjustment also includes changing America’s religious beliefs.
