America’s Spiritual Decline

The spirit of Antichrist has been in the world at least since God said the seed of woman would bruise Satan’s head (Gen. 3:15). God’s curse was the beginning of a great earthly struggle between good and evil. In the beginning, it focused on preventing the first coming of Jesus. It is now focused on preventing the Second Coming of Jesus. It will continue until this world is destroyed by fire (Matt. 24:35; II Pet. 3:10).

The Antichrist won’t be revealed until the church is Raptured, but the spirit of Antichrist is already here (II Thess. 2:6, 7; I Jn. 4:3). It is anti-God, anti-Jesus, anti-Truth, anti-Christian, the Apostasy, the falling away, the departure from the faith, the emerging church, liberalism, humanism, globalism, inclusiveness, replacement theology, non-Christian religions and the like.

Among other things, this wicked spirit will lead to perilous times, blasphemy, fierceness and despising those that are good in the last days (II Tim. 3:1-4). It will make the world more dangerous (wars, nuclear weapons, more deadly pestilences etc.). Humanity will become more despicable (ungodly or contemptuous of God). People will become more brutal (behead people, burn people alive, cut babies in two); and society will become more intolerant of those who serve God at the end of the Church Age (persecution).

Instead of a worldwide revival with the church converting the world, the people on planet Earth will move farther away from Jesus until all that will live godly in Christ will suffer persecution (II Thess. 2:3; Rev. 3:16; II Tim. 3:12). Christians all over the Middle East are being persecuted right now and it is a growing problem in the U.S.

Jesus, the Disciples, Paul and many of the early Christians were persecuted. A pastor that I know recently preached on “Preparing for the Coming Persecution.” Rev. Franklin Graham recently said that he is concerned about “persecution in this country” [the U.S.]. He added that, “We’ve already seen many laws that have been passed that restrict our freedom as Christians. I believe it’s going to get worse.”

About two weeks ago there was testimony before a U.S. Senate subcommittee that the U.S. received about seven million immigrants in fiscal 2014. They came from many places, but most were Hispanics and some were Muslims.

God loves all of them. He wants all of them to know that Jesus died for everyone’s sins. He wants all of them to accept Jesus as their Savior and to go to heaven.

But it should be understood that seven million immigrants, plus the multiplied millions more that are expected to arrive in the next 3 to 4 years, are going to impact the already failing spirituality of the U.S.

No one can deny that there are places in the world where the church is growing, but the U.S. is not one of them. Many pastors say that they think the Apostasy has already started in the U.S. They see very little difference between most of their church members and the lost. Apathy and moral failure are already widespread in U.S. churches.

This is the point: The growing persecution and spiritual decline of America is bad enough already, but it is going to get much worse in the future. It is difficult to say how many Muslims are coming into the U.S. when people are saying the number is much higher than our government is letting on. And Pres. Obama has already said he will increase it even more. It is sad to know that Syrian Muslims are being brought in, but Syrian Christians are being refused entry. Bringing non-Christians in and keeping Christians out changes things.

Increasing the population of Muslims is going to mean more mosques; more demands to stop monitoring mosques, more demands to stop profiling Muslims; more demands to bring in extended families of Muslims; more demands for Muslim prayers before Congress, at city council meetings and the like.

It will mean more demands for Sharia Law: more attempts to get rid of the Bible, portray Christians as hate-mongers and extremists, send Christians to sensitivity training, get rid of chaplains in the military and the like; more demands to change school textbooks, lunch menus, etc. and perhaps more terrorist attacks, especially on churches.

Muslims are coming (and being brought) to the U.S. for many reasons, but the primary reason they are coming is to fundamentally transform the U.S. into a Muslim nation.

I have been to Mexico and seen many faithful Hispanic Christians. The vast majority is nominal at best. About 75-80%, say they are Catholic. They say they are Catholic because their parents were Catholic or they believe they were born Catholic. But their Catholic beliefs are far from traditional mainline Christianity. In many cases, their beliefs have been blended with ritualism, magic, voodoo, varied Indian cultural practices and the like.

Several years ago, a missionary took my wife and me to a Roman Catholic Church in Mexico and a voodoo ceremony was being performed in the church. I am not against legalized immigration (and I don’t blame anyone for seeking a better life), but I am saying that letting 25-30 million people with many kinds of strange beliefs come into the U.S. in the next 4 to 5 years (and not letting Christians in) will decrease the percentage of true Christians in the U.S.

Understand that the Bible is not wrong. Every jot and tittle will be fulfilled including what it says about persecution. Understand too, that what Islamic terrorists do in other countries (behead Christians, burn churches, burn people alive, cut babies in two, sell people into slavery) they will also do in the U.S. Their threats to raise the Islamic State flag over the White House and to blow up the White House should be taken seriously.

The spirit of Antichrist is already here and a flood of epic proportions is on the way. It will further weaken the U.S. spiritually and we should be concerned for our Lord, our children, our grandchildren, others and ourselves.

In Christ There Is No Wrath

Our Excerpt today is from a paper authored by Dr. Mal Couch which was presented to the Pre-Trib Research Study Group at its annual conference a few years ago. The paper is titled: “Major Rapture Terms and Passages” and is focused on the major New Testament terms and passages that support the Pre-Tribulational Rapture of the Church. For our purposes today we wish to focus on one passage from this work which emphasizes the fact that the Church, which is the Bride of Christ, will not experience the Wrath of the Tribulation because of the Rapture.

Our excerpt begins:

The rapture has to do with the dispensation of the church or those “in Christ.” The church age is a unique period with special promises. Those with Him now by faith will not face the coming wrath (1 Thess. 5:9). There was nothing like the rapture for Old Testament saints, and there will be nothing similar for Tribulation believers.

Most of the rapture passages mention the believer’s relationship to Jesus. Paul speaks of “our Lord Jesus at His coming” (1 Thess. 2:19) and of the dead as those “who have fallen asleep in Jesus” (4:14), who are now called “the dead in Christ” and who will rise first (4:17). The reason for the rapture, Paul says, is so we might escape the coming wrath and obtain salvation “through our Lord Jesus Christ” (5:9). Awake or asleep we will live together “with Him” (5:10). The apostle continues to punctuate this relationship with our Redeemer when he reminds the confused Thessalonians of this “coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him” (2 Thess. 2:1).

In Paul’s great resurrection and rapture section, 1 Corinthians 15:12-28, both events are tightly tied to our spiritual position in Christ. “In Christ all shall be made alive,” he says (15:21). Jesus is the first fruits of the resurrection and then those who are Christ’s “at His coming” (15:23). And following the apostle’s great description of our “change” at the rapture and the resurrection of the dead, he concludes with this triumphant statement, “thanks be to God, who gives us the victory because of our Lord Jesus Christ” (15:57). In Titus, Paul calls the Lord “our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ” (2:13). He “gave Himself for us,” and thus redeems and purifies “a people for His own possession” (2:14).

These statements are important because they reveal the unique position the church now has with its Savior that spares it from the coming wrath.

Words of Grace for Strength

Today the subject of the Pre-Tribulational Rapture of the church has come under fire from many directions. There are now those who deny the Rapture altogether, those who support a Post-Trib Rapture, a Mid-Trib Rapture, and the latest variation is a teaching suggesting a Pre-Wrath Rapture in which the church will endure Satan’s wrath but not the Wrath of God.

We agree that the purpose for the Rapture is to keep the Church from the Wrath of God. Paul tells us this very thing in 1 Thessalonians 5:9; “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,” however a distinction between the wrath of Satan and the Wrath of God during the Tribulation is tenuous at best. A true understanding of the Tribulation period places every event of that time in the context of God’s purposes and God’s Wrath. Satan has no power except that granted by God. Therefore, any wrath meted out by Satan is in fact God’s as He accomplishes His purposes during the Tribulation.

What is God’s purpose for the time of Tribulation as He inflicts His Wrath upon the world? We believe there are four things He intends to accomplish.

First, Satan will be given every opportunity, during the Tribulation, to make his rebellion succeed only to fail. Revelation 19 describes the defeat of Satan’s army and the destruction of the Beast (Antichrist) and his false prophet, and chapter 20 describes Satan being bound and cast into the pit. Thus, God will use Satan to accomplish His own purposes. The depravity  and sin nature of man will be seen through these last rebellious events, leaving no doubt that without the redemptive blessings through Christ, all would be lost for no man resists sin without salvation through Jesus.

The second purpose of God during the Tribulation is to bring Israel into a position of obedience and redemption. The scriptures teach us that God will use this time to bring His chosen people to Faith in Jesus as their Messiah. God will use Satan, the Beast (Antichrist) and the wicked gentile nations to persecute and punish Israel for her unfaithfulness to God. Zechariah prophesied that during this time two-thirds of Israel will be destroyed; ‘“And it shall come to pass in all the land,” Says the LORD, “That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die,”’ (Zechariah 13:8) but one-third will declare; “The Lord is my God” (Zechariah 13:9). With this having been accomplished the prophecy will be fulfilled; ‘“And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “THE DELIVERER WILL COME OUT OF ZION, AND HE WILL TURN AWAY UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB; FOR THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS.” (Romans 11:26&27) Notice when Paul says “all Israel will be saved” he is speaking of the believing remnant of one-third because the Scripture in Zechariah 3:8 has already acknowledged the two-thirds which are cut off and die. Israel, coming to terms with Jesus as Messiah, and as a result, coming to Messiah, brings the covenantal promises of God to the nation of Israel to their ultimate fulfillment.

The third purpose we see God accomplishing during the Tribulation is to punish the world and the gentile nations for their sins against God and His chosen people Israel. (Deuteronomy 30:7; Isaiah 13:9; Isaiah 24:19&20) This purpose is retribution for the unrepentant during this time, and has nothing to do with the Church. And we of the Church need to see our blessed position in Christ and give praise that we are kept from enduring this purpose of God in these end times events.

The fourth purpose of God during this time is to evangelize the world. This is prophesied by Jesus Himself in Matthew 24:14; “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” We see the fulfillment of this in Revelation 7:1-17 through the preaching of the 144,000 Jews, the Two Witnesses and Angels. We see occurring during these most terrible of times the very thing we ourselves are now commanded to do, during our daily times in our daily lives.

So, in conclusion, we do not find evidence of the Church in any of these events during the Tribulation. Let us give one last common sense example. Since the Church is the bride of Christ, does it not make sense that Christ would protect His Bride from God’s Wrath? Realistically, what groom would beat his prospective bride before their wedding? It is our hope that this common sense evidence borne out by the Scripture should be enough to put this subject to rest. The Rapture is Pre-Tribulational… and imminent. Jesus is coming soon!

Five Is Not Enough

The Bible teaches that ten kings (ten horns or ten leaders) will appear at the end of the age and then an eleventh, a little horn (a little king or a little leader), called the Antichrist will appear (Dan. 7:24; Rev. 17:12). Many outstanding prophecy teachers believe these ten kings will be ten leaders in a reunited Europe. But I disagree because the feet and toes on the statue in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream (Dan. 2:41-43) are feet and toes of iron plus clay (not iron by itself). I believe the clay represents nations other than a re-united Europe.

So it is my opinion that the ten kings will be ten rulers over ten groups of nations in the world not ten rulers over ten divisions in a re-united Europe. Put another way, I believe the most powerful of the ten kings will be the king from the Old Roman Empire (iron) and the other nine kings will be rulers over non-Roman Empire groups of nations (clay). I believe the ten kings will rule over a world government (iron plus clay) not just a reunited Europe (iron).

It seems significant to me that the UN Charter calls for the establishment of a world government with administrative regions. It doesn’t say how many regions the UN wants in its desired world government, but based on the Bible I believe that the world will wind-up with ten regions and each region will have its own leader (or king) for a total of ten leaders (or ten kings). After the ten kings appear, an eleventh king known as the Antichrist will appear. But the Rapture will be before that (II Thess. 2:6-8).

At this time, the UN Security Council has five permanent members with veto power, but most of the other nations don’t like that. They say that it is unfair to allow one nation on the UN Security Council to veto resolutions that have been passed in the UN General Assembly by a hundred or more other nations. They say that it is unfair to allow one nation (the U.S.) to block General Assembly resolutions against Israel or to allow one nation (Russia) to block General Assembly resolutions against Syria or Iran that have been passed by most of the world.

For years, some of these General Assembly nations have called for the UN Security Council to be restructured. But the five permanent members of the UN Security Council have always ignored their call and steadfastly refused to restructure and give up their veto power.

On Sept. 29, 2014 during the sixty-ninth Session of the UN General Assembly, Pres. Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey addressed the issue and said, “The world is bigger than five.” Leaders from all over the world agreed with him and they called for the immediate restructuring of the UN Security Council. But there was more. They also called for the UN to create regions in the world and to have leaders to represent those regions.

I have no way of knowing what the five permanent members of the UN Security Council will do or when they will do it. They may continue to ignore the call of the General Assembly nations to expand the number of permanent members in the UN Security Council and to create regions with regional leaders, or they may stop ignoring them and finally come around and do what the General Assembly is asking them to do. But I will say that it is just my opinion that the UN Security Council will soon restructure into ten groups or regions of nations.

Globalists are already pushing for the creation of regional groups of nations in North Africa and South America patterned after the European Union. Russia and several other nations have already signed a document creating a group of nations called the Eurasian Economic Union. Brazil, India and others are already saying that their growing economic clout accompanied by the economic problems in Europe and Asia means that they should be given a greater voice in the world. And in July 2014, more than 130 nations signed a document called a “New World Order to Live By.”

So at some point I believe change will come to the UN. That change will be followed by the rise of the Antichrist. And his appearance will be preceded by the Rapture.

The Approaching Darkness

The Tribulation period has many names. Several are found in the disturbing prophecies of Zephaniah:

“The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers” (Zeph. 1:14-16).

The harshness of this coming day is revealed by five descriptive couplets:

1) Trouble and distress, 2) wasteness and desolation, 3) darkness and gloominess, 4) clouds and thick darkness, and 5) trumpet and alarm.

All five couplets are important, but for the purpose of this article, notice the words “darkness” and “thick darkness.” The day of wrath will be a day of darkness that will turn into a day of thick or intense darkness.

The prophet Joel saw a plague of locusts in his day that moved his mind forward to this coming day. He said, “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations” (Joel 2:1-2).

Joel is not the only one who said there has never been and never will be another day like it. Daniel and Jesus said the same thing (Dan.12:1; Matt. 24:21). But many Muslims do not understand the severity of this. Some actually want to start a war in the Middle East to trigger the day of the LORD (they call it the day of Islam), because they believe it will hasten the return of their Mahdi (their guided one).

They long for his return because they believe he will lead Muslim forces to victory over the West in the Battle of Armageddon (they call it the Mother of all Battles) and speed up the establishment of Islam as the one-world religion and government.

But God said, “Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?” (Amos 5:18-20).

The Tribulation period will be a day of judgment, not joy. People will flee from one danger and encounter a greater danger. The darkness will be very dark and there will be no light or brightness in it.

Some do not believe in the Pre-Trib Rapture, but Paul was writing about the day of the Lord when he said, “But of the times and the seasons, bretheren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they [the unbelievers] shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them [the unbelievers], as travail upon a woman with child; and they [the unbelievers] shall not escape.

But ye, brethren [believers], are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye [believers] are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us [believers] to wrath (the Tribulation period is a day of wrath; see Zeph. 1:14 above), but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thess. 5:2-9).

This day of darkness (the Tribulation period) will begin when the Antichrist confirms a covenant with “many” for seven-years of peace in the Middle East (Dan. 9:27a). Unbelievers will quickly proclaim “peace and safety” and sudden destruction will come upon them (1 Thess. 5:3). The Antichrist will establish an office in Israel for himself and some of his international troops (Dan.11:45). That is where he will be when he meets his end at the Second Coming of Jesus (Rev. 19:19-20; also read Rev. 8:12-13).

Now, recall that Israel and Hamas were at war for seven weeks during July and August 2014. During this time, “many” called for a ceasefire (Egypt, Jordan, England, France, Germany, the U.S., the 16-nation UN Security Council and others) and there were twelve ceasefire’s, with Hamas breaking the first eleven. This “many” used terms such as “sustainable ceasefire,” “lasting ceasefire,” “a long-term ceasefire,” “talks on a final Israeli-PA peace deal,” “a durable peace,” etc.

Some even demanded a ceasefire. It was even reported that the PA plans to ask the UN Security Council to draw up proposal to resolve the conflict (propose a seven-year ceasefire or peace treaty???), set a date for its implementation and enforce it by sending international troops to Israel (see Dan. 11:45 above). U.S. Sec. of State John Kerry even tweeted that Israel needs “peace and security” a phrase that means “peace and safety” (see 1 Thess. 5:3 above).

And it was reported that the UN is ready to force a resolution based on the two-state solution (the division of Israel, Jerusalem, etc.) on the two parties and compel them to abide by it (trouble for Israel; Zeph. 1:15 and Dan. 12:1 above; Jer. 30:7).

In the coming weeks (some say over the next four months), the U.S. is to consolidate all of these ceasefire and peace treaty demands into one document to be discussed, voted on and enforced by the UN. Of course, Pres. Obama claims to have Israel’s back, but, to put it mildly, many people don’t trust him.

I don’t know what will be in the combined document of the “many” that Pres. Obama will come up with (It may have a time factor of seven-years and it may not), but I know that there will be a seven-year ceasefire in the future and things are definitely moving in that direction. But even if Pres. Obama draws up a seven-year ceasefire, the Tribulation period won’t begin until the Antichrist confirms it. And just to be clear, I believe the Rapture and several wars must take place first (Psa. 83; Isa. 17; Ezek. 38-39).

Anyway, the day of darkness won’t overtake believers (1 Thess. 5:4). God’s day children (1 Thess. 5:5) could soon leave, the sun could set soon and what appears to be the approaching darkness will be thick and very dark.

Confusion, and Barack Hussein Obama

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life.

These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.” 1 John 2:15-29

What are the foundational, fundamental beliefs which drive the decisions and ambitions of Barack Hussein Obama? I must admit that, for most of the 6+ years of his presidency I have considered him to be a Muslim. However, I have recently begun to reassess this thought. While he has personally claimed to be a Christian, his words, actions, and in fact the very evidence of his very life are contradictory to that claim. His one-time membership in the church pastored by Jeremiah Wright and his personal relationship with that pastor are well documented, as is the black liberation theology he teaches. It has been, and still is, my assertion that Jeremiah Wright is a false prophet and false teacher whose theology espouses hatred, which is completely antithetical to the teachings of Jesus Christ. If Jeremiah Wright or Barack Obama either were at one time in their life drawn to the Truth of the Gospel and the True Church, I submit that; “They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.” (1 John 2:19)

It is therefore my contention that Barack Obama is not a Christian, and I am confident in saying so because his life has borne no evidence of any fruits of the Spirit. In fact, what evidence there is would point to him being anti-Christian. His stand for abortion, for homosexual marriage, and to force faith-based organizations to pay for contraceptives through Obamacare are examples, as is his Department of Justice and Department of Defense’s persecution of those who express their faith in Christ. The very fact that he ignored for months (while he was busy on the golf course) the plight of Christians in Iraq who are being persecuted by the ISIS, is evidence enough for most that he is anti-Christian. His negligence of the Christians in Iraq is documented in an article written by Kirsten Powers entitled; Obama’s inattention to Iraqi Christians, and published on August 13, 2014 in USA Today.

But, does this mean he is a Muslim? Of a certainty there is more evidence to make that claim than any other. We might begin with the very fact that he received a good portion of his early education in a Muslim madrassa (school) in Indonesia. Or we might point to the fact that all of his relatives in Kenya are Muslim. And in fact, his brother Malik Obama is the executive secretary of the Islamic Da’wa Organization (IDO) and is reported to oversee the Muslim Brotherhood’s international investments. Malik Obama is also known to associate with members of Hamas as well as the Muslim Brotherhood. The Obama brothers are said to be very close, Malik was the best man at Barack’s wedding to Michelle, and Malik has visited Barack in the White House on numerous occasions. Then there is this, Barack Obama has written that one of the most beautiful sounds he has ever heard is the Muslim call to prayers, and in an address to the United Nations General Assembly in September 2012 said; “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

In two recent articles it has been documented that no less than seven individuals who have ties with the Muslim Brotherhood serve or have served in appointed positions in the Obama administration. The first article titled; Sharia Advisors – Barack Obama’s Muslim Appointees In High-Security Positions, was written by Leon Puissegur and published April 29, 2014 on freedomoutpost.com and the second article titled; Barack Obama Has a Preference for Muslim Brotherhood Advisers, was written by Sara Noble and published May 4, 2014 on independentsentinel.com

Those named in the articles were;

• Arif Alikhan — Assistant Secretary for Policy Development for DHS
• Mohamed Elibiary — Homeland Security Adviser
• Rashad Hussain Marayati — Special Envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference
• Salam al-Marayati — Adviser, Founder and Executive Director, Muslim Public Affairs Council
• Imam Mohamed Magid — Obama’s Sharia Czar — Islamic Society of North America
• Eboo Patel — Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships
• Kareem Shora, – a native of Damascus, Syria, Homeland Security Advisory Council

Also of note is Huma Abedin, who was the Assistant to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and who has extensive family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

In writing about President Obama’s obvious ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, Graham J. Noble noted in a recent editorial; “One should consider that family connections to terrorist organizations would not only render any private American citizen ineligible to serve in the US Armed Forces, or be hired for any number of government jobs, but would also make them subject to surveillance and, quite possibly, investigation. The fact that such well-documented ties can be traced to no less a person than the president of the United States makes one wonder how Barack Hussein Obama was obviously able to completely evade any vetting process. Whilst, in a free society, there should be few barriers to running for public office, the position of Commander-in-Chief is far too sensitive and important to expose to someone with such dubious links as our current leader.”

But once again I ask, is this enough evidence to say that Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim? Or, is he an Islamist? What is the difference you ask? An Islamist is one who adheres to an ideology of Islamism which uses the religion of Islam to promote totalitarianism with respect to politics, economics, militarism, and technology. As such Islamism is no different from socialism, Marxist-Leninist communism, or fascism in the way it desires to control the state and society. Islamism is anti-capitalist and as such most decidedly anti-American. Islam as a religion is personal, therefore a Muslim’s response to Islamic law is his choice. The Islamist on the other hand desires to force his form of totalitarian ideology and religion on everyone.

Since we have mentioned communism, and because Barack Obama has also been accused of being a socialist, perhaps we should explore briefly this subject as well. Unless you have been living under a rock, or are simply willfully ignorant, you are aware of Barack Obama’s relationship with Bill Ayres and Bernadine Dohrn, formerly of the Weather Underground, classic Marxist-Leninist communists, who launched his political career in their living room. You should also be aware of Barack Obama’s adherence to the organizational teachings of Saul Alinsky, also a communist, and perhaps even of his relationship with the communist Frank Marshall Davis who mentored the young Barack Obama in Hawaii in the 1970s.

Frank Marshall Davis worked with Robert Taylor in the American Peace Mobilization group which was a communist front organization, and through Taylor, Davis met a Chicago writer named Vernon Jarrett. Davis and Vernon Jarrett were part of the publicity team for the Packinghouse Workers Union which was communist controlled. Now then, here is an interesting little tidbit of information, President Barack Hussein Obama’s most trusted advisor in the White House is Valerie Jarrett. Valerie Jarrett holds the title of Senior Advisor to the president. Her grandfather was Robert Taylor and her father-in-law, Vernon Jarrett, and she was introduced to Barack Obama by Bill Ayres. So then, legitimately, the question might be asked, is Barack Hussein Obama a socialistic communist?

Islamist, communist notwithstanding, there is one “IST” that describes Barack Obama that I am willing to be dogmatic about; he is a Narcissist. The concise Encyclopedia defines narcissism as a mental disorder characterized by extreme self-absorption, an exaggerated sense of self-importance, and a need for attention and admiration from others. Narcissists are also described as being haughty, aloof, and unusually cool and composed unless their confidence is shaken and they feel threatened, which manifests itself in hypersensitivity to insults whether real or imagined. Narcissists have difficulty with empathy and sustaining satisfying relationships, and use other people without considering their feelings or counting the cost for having done so. Narcissists have unreasonable expectations of favorable treatment because they are convinced they are special and are thus entitled. Any failure to comply with their desires is considered an attack on their superiority. Typically, they are braggarts who exaggerate their achievements and claim an above average intelligence, and expertise in many areas. Narcissists have an inability to view the world from other people’s perspectives, detest those who do not admire them, have no sense of guilt or remorse, and yet are vulnerable to shame.

I believe this very aptly describes Barack Obama. From the very beginning of his presidency he has abused the American people with the excesses of his lifestyle as president. From the unmatched opulence of his vacations and those of his family, to the incessant pandering of and to his liberal Hollywood cronies, to his limitless addiction to the game of golf, he has shown no regard for the financial burden he has placed on the American taxpayer or the dereliction of his duty as president during times of international crisis. Because of his own personal ideology he has alienated our allies and emboldened our enemies. He has destroyed our healthcare system, crippled our economy, and marginalized our military. His administration has displayed abject corruption in its Department of Justice, IRS, Department of Homeland Security, and Bureau of land management, Bureau of alcohol, tobacco, and firearms, and Department of State. Barack Obama does not like the United States of America, but Barack Obama likes his position, Barack Obama likes his pleasures, and Barack Obama likes his power. Barack Obama loves worldly things!

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” (1 John 2:15-16)

I believe Barack Obama is an Islamist, and a socialist/communist, and I believe because of their incompatibility, and because ultimately he is a narcissist; that he is presently one of the most confused individuals who has ever walked the earth. I believe he came into the presidency with the socialistic goal of the destruction of the United States power and influence in the world. I believe his Islamist ideology is in opposition to the socialist/communist goals of his handlers who placed him in the presidency, yet he has a desire to see it succeed. I believe his narcissistic and hedonistic desires and affectations have caused him to turn away from any semblance of responsibility, without remorse. I do not believe that he is incompetent, I do not believe that he does not care, I do believe that absolutely everything he has done or not done has been planned.

“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.” (1 John 2:18)

Barack Hussein Obama is not a Christian. He is an anti-Christian, not the Antichrist but an antichrist, and we are living in the last hour. As I have often stated before, nowhere in End Times prophetic Scripture is the United States of America found. Therefore, though I believe Barack Obama serves “the prince of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2) and the “rulers of the darkness of this age” (Ephesians 6:12), ultimately, whether he is aware of it or not, even in his sinfulness he is accomplishing the will of God.

“And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.” (1 John 2:28)

The Approaching Day

This article is about the Second Coming not the Rapture. There are no signs of the Rapture. It can happen at any time and without notice. But there are signs of the Second Coming and the Church is told to watch for those signs.

Many prophecy writers, including myself, believe the Rapture will occur before the Tribulation Period. In that case, the Rapture will occur before the Second Coming because Jesus won’t come back to this earth (He will remain in the air at the Rapture) until the end of the Tribulation Period. So, if the Second Coming is close, the Rapture is even closer.

Most of those who watch the signs think the Second Coming is very close. They know that Jesus said, “Of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matt. 24:36). But they also know that Jesus said, “When ye shall see all these things (the signs), know that it is near, even at the doors” (Matt. 24:33). And they also know that the Bible says we can see the day approaching (Heb. 10:25). So even though no human being knows the day and hour, prophecy teachers are not contradicting the Scriptures when they say the Second Coming is close.

They believe it is close because God has revealed timing clues along with some prophecies. For example, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezek. 38-39), God said it will happen in the latter days (Ezek. 38:16) and latter years (Ezek. 38:8). But in order for this prophecy to be fulfilled, God said Israel will be back in the land; Israel will have cattle and goods; Israel will be opposed by Russia, Iran, Turkey and others, etc. These pre-conditions are in existence today and they seem to be screaming out that the latter days and latter years have arrived.

Another example involves one of the verses mentioned above (Matt. 24:33). Jesus said His Second Coming will be close when all of the signs are apparent in the same generation. Between 70 A.D. and 1948 the nation of Israel didn’t exist so it was impossible to see all of the signs during that span. Between 1948 and 1967 Israel didn’t control the Temple Mount so again it was impossible to see all of the signs. But all of the signs appear to be coming on the scene now. Some prophecy teachers call the appearance of all of the signs a convergence of the signs. Some even think this convergence of the signs is more important than any other sign including the return of Israel. Anyway, this convergence of all of the signs in the same generation is a timing clue signifying that the Second Coming is near.

Bible prophecy requires the establishment of a New World Order (world government) during the Tribulation Period and before the Second Coming (Rev. 13:7). In 2009, Henry Kissinger said, “Pres. Obama has been chosen to bring in the New World Order” and we are now a little more than two years from the end of his second term. In 2013, Vice-Pres. Biden said, “The affirmative task we (the U.S.) have now is to actually create a New World Order.” In 2014, he said, “I believe we and mainly you (the 2014 Air Force graduating class) have an incredible opportunity to lead in shaping a New World Order.” And in 2014, Pres. Obama talked about a coming “new order based on a different set of principles.” So if our leaders are close to the establishment of a New World Order, the world is close to the Second Coming and even closer to the Rapture of the church.

Bible prophecy requires the establishment of a global religion during the Tribulation Period. In Feb. 2014, it was reported that Pope Francis wants to reverse the Protestant Reformation and unite all religions. The Reformation began with a split in the Roman Catholic Church. The recognized beginning of this split occurred on Oct. 31, 1517 when Martin Luther posted his Ninety-Five Theses on the door of Castle Church in Wittenberg. The 500th Anniversary of the Reformation will occur on Oct. 31, 2017. So Pope Francis has established Oct. 31, 2017 as a goal for an anti-Reformation (a reversal of the Reformation by uniting Catholics, Protestants, Muslims and Jews into one religion). He may not be able to do it, but again, if the world is close to the establishment of a world religion (in 2017); it is even closer to the Rapture of the church.

Bible prophecy requires the coming Antichrist and his False Prophet to have the ability to identify everyone and to track all of their buying and selling about three and one-half years before the Second Coming (Rev. 13:16-17). Now, it is being reported that Obamacare requires every American to have a National ID card and that the Dept. of Homeland Security will start enforcing this in 2017. In fact, NBC recently predicted that every American will have a RFID implant by 2017. So the appearance of things that will be used after the Rapture (ID cards, chipping people, etc. by 2017) are timing clues that signify that the Rapture is getting close.

The Tribulation Period and Second Coming also require the arrival of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Rev. 6:1-8) which many believe is the rise of the Antichrist with an increase in war, famine, pestilence and earthquakes (also see Matt. 24:5-7). The Antichrist can’t rise because the church is still here (II Thess. 2:7-8), but this year it has been reported that wars have increased seven years in a row; the price of several foods (pork, beef, chicken, etc.) has reached an all time high and this is just the beginning; drug resistant viruses (pestilences) are spreading around the world, and big earthquakes (those larger than 7.0) have doubled since 1979. How can those who watch not believe that we will soon be going home?

Bible prophecy requires the Antichrist to confirm a Middle East peace treaty that will begin the Tribulation Period after the Rapture of the church. There have been many failed attempts at a Middle East peace treaty, but proposals are now being drafted that will ask the UN Security Council to take over the peace process; to set a date for dividing the land of Israel and creating a Palestinian State; and to enforce the UN Security Council actions with international troops. It means the PA is asking the UN Security Council to dictate a solution and send in troops to enforce it.

After the Rapture, there will be a global economic collapse (Rev. 6:5-6) and a recent report by the Bank of International Settlements recently said the entire world is now in a situation of unsustainable debt and more. As the world approaches the Tribulation Period what it does to Israel will come back on it. The U.S. is trying to erase Israel’s borders and its borders have been erased. More could be said, but many prophecy writers have good reason to believe that they can see the day approaching. Are you prepared?

The Horse’s Mouth

Pres. Obama is beginning to receive more than a little well-deserved criticism for his constant fundraising. I am not saying fundraising is wrong. But I am saying that Pres. Obama doesn’t let anything interfere with an expensive trip on Air Force One at taxpayer expense to raise money for his political party; that Pres. Obama has taken approximately 400 trips; that it is not unusual for Pres. Obama to be gone for more than a day and to do something else while he is gone (such as play golf); that Pres. Obama is doing it so much that some are accusing him of neglecting his presidential duties and that there are even rumors that some of his donors are growing weary of being asked to give over and over again.

Pres. Obama is also beginning to receive more than a little well-deserved criticism for not telling the truth. It is obvious that his pledge to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States was not true; that those shovel-ready jobs did not exist; that his administration is not the most transparent administration in history; that many who liked their healthcare plan were not allowed to keep it; that our border with Mexico is not secure, and more. Pres. Obama’s dishonesty is blatant, outrageous and well-known.

Having said that, with war raging in Israel, Syria, Iraq and Libya; an unprecedented crisis on the U.S-Mexican border; a Malaysian airliner shot down over Ukraine (perhaps by Russia); and more; Pres. Obama recently embarked on a three-day, five-stop fundraising trip to the U.S. West Coast. And, on at least one of those five stops, he uttered the absolute truth and if I rightly understand what he said, everyone needs to sit up and take notice. He was talking about some of the problems in the world when he said, “part of people’s concern is just the sense that around the world the old order isn’t holding and we’re not quite yet to where we need to be in terms of a new order that’s based on a different set of principles, that’s based on a sense of common humanity, that’s based on economies that work for all people.”

First, Pres. Obama said, “the old order isn’t holding.” This is absolutely true because a strong Christian based U.S. headed up the old world order until Pres. Obama took office. But Pres. Obama reduced America’s nuclear weapons, reduced America’s military, damaged America’s economy, betrayed America’s allies, spread immorality and lied to the point that most of the world no longer respects or trusts Pres. Obama or the U.S. The decline of the U.S. has caused the decline of the old world order.

Second, Pres. Obama said, “we’re not quite yet to where we need to be in terms of a new order.” This is absolutely true because the Rapture hasn’t happened and the Antichrist can’t be revealed until the church is in heaven; all of the ten regions with their Ten Kings (ten leaders) are not fully developed; the negotiations to produce a Middle East peace treaty have collapsed and more. We’re almost there, but not quite.

Third, Pres. Obama said, the new order will be “based on a different set of principles.” This is absolutely true because the New World Order will be a satanic world order not a Christian world order. It will be “against the Christ” (antichrist), spy on, persecute and kill believers. The Golden Rule, Ten Commandments and all other Christian principles will be discarded.

Fourth, Pres. Obama said this different set of principles will be “based on a sense of common humanity.” People will be viewed as citizens of the world not as citizens of a nation and the values of individual religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, etc.) will be replaced by a common set of politically correct values, rules and laws that are being determined by the elite.

Fifth, Pres. Obama said this different set of principles will be “based on economies (plural) that work for all peoples.” I have long believed that the world will be divided into ten economic regions (ten trading blocks of nations) that will be transformed into ten political regions patterned after the EU and each one will have their own currency, leader or king, etc. I believe that this must happen before the Antichrist can rise to power and establish a one-world economic system. So the world will be merged in phases or stages: more than 190 nations (economies) will be merged into ten groups of nations (economies) and then the ten will be merged into a one-world government and economic system. Wealth redistribution will be a big issue.

In the 1800’s, someone coined the phrase “straight from the horse’s mouth.” Among other things it means “if you want to know the facts, ask someone that is involved.” What Pres. Obama said about the new order (New World Order or World government) came straight from the horse’s mouth.
